Weddin Landcare have recently released their annual report for 2023-2024. The report summarises Weddin Landcare’s achievements, events, projects and other activities over the past year. And what a year it has been! With $142,367.62 contributed to the local Weddin Shire economy, 2,800 trees planted, 31Ha of land rehabilitated and 543 people educated across 34 events.
Other highlights from the year included securing a full-time Coordinator for the next few years, new volunteers at the Weddin Community Native Nursery and registration of Weddin Landcare as a charity that can receive tax-deductible donations.
