Weddin Landcare turns 30 this year! We think it is an amazing achievement for a not-for-profit, community driven organisation that is run by volunteers so we’re having a party to celebrate!

Past and current members as well as anyone we have partnered with over the years for projects are invited to attend – we don’t mind if you’ve been with us for 30 minutes or 30 years!
Eat Your Greens have developed a delicious 3-course menu for us and we also have the honour of hearing from our guest speakers, Gemma Wilkinson and Jake Chandler, the stars of our latest Over the Fence visual story!
There’ll be plenty of opportunity to catch up with old Landcare mates, reminisce about past fun we’ve had and hear about what we’re up to these days. Some very special members will also be awarded Life Memberships.
ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKERS:
Gemma and Jake discovered a soil health focus for their farming business during the challenges of navigating succession planning and the 2019 drought. KLR Marketing was their first access point and they went on to complete Executive Link with RCS together. They farm with Gemma’s parents in an equal 4 way partnership near Young NSW co-grazing sheep and cattle together in a large flerd. Finding management accounting and a community of like minded people in regenerative ag has helped refine their life and farming directions including a registered soil carbon project. Our ‘Microbe friendly farming’ field day held on their property last year was a fantastic day of shared learning and connection.
They have recently been applauded for their involvement on a panel discussion at Grounded festival speaking to the challenges of juggling personal and professional lives in business together. Also returning from the Heart summit at Eastwell farms near Noosa QLD, these curious leaders are committed to learning and bringing their enthusiasm to share at our celebration of 30 years!
