Join Birding NSW to survey 30 sites around Grenfell as part of their bi-annual Key Biodiversity Area Bird Surveys. With the key focus being on Superb Parrots, Diamond Firetails, Swift Parrots and Painted Honeyeaters.
Official surveys will take place on Saturday in small groups. The groups survey 5 sites for 20 minutes each, in state forests, along roadsides, and on private properties. Starting at 7:45 am.
On Sunday morning there will be a casual bird walk at Company Dam, Grenfell, to record and observe birds.
No need to book, just turn up at 8:30 am.
This is a great way to meet some incredibly knowledgeable bird lovers and discover what woodland birds are in and around Weddin.
